BRIDGING BORDERS

Stars Do Shine (SDS) is an education program in Myanmar that empowers young people, ages 15 – 30, from various marginalized backgrounds and provides them with the support they need to finish their high school education.  This program can support youth who previously dropped out of school, typically due to family and financial responsibilities to pursue their educational dream and career pathways. The project aims to convince students that they, just like any other young people of their age elsewhere, can become what and who they aspire to be and inspire other young people in their community. It supports them with breaking the youth unemployment cycle and poverty cycle of their family and community.
